How to Join a Marble Race

1. Queuing Up

To join a race, type !q in the live chat of a marble race stream on the LiveChatGaming YouTube or Twitch channel. Each race can include up to 100 players at once. If the race is already full, you’ll be placed in the next available one.

2. Choosing a Color

You can choose between 8 colors: pink, red, orange, green, cyan, blue, and purple. For example, if you want to join as a purple marble, you will need to type and enter !q purple exactly in the chat. Any other combination of characters including !q will give your marble a random color.

Attempting to queue as a different color before your marble races will not change the previous color you did or did not choose.

3. One Queue at a Time

You can only be queued for one race at a time. After your marble enters a race and the starting gate opens, you’ll be free to queue again by typing !q. This ensures everyone gets a fair chance to participate.

4. Confirming Your Entry

When you successfully queue, your YouTube or Twitch display name may briefly appear in the messages feed shown on the stream. Your name will also appear when your marble officially joins the race.

Because messages appear quickly, your confirmation message may get pushed out of view. This problem will likely be fixed in the future, but for now pay attention to when you queued for a race and when your marble joins a race.
